95 accord v6 brake upgrades
Ok, before i say anything, yes i have read the FAQ. I have a 95 accord with a v6, NOT the 4cyl. with v6 front brakes. I am beginning to modify the car as money permits but nothing crazy just want a little extra performance cause i spend a lot of time on the highway in the mountain of British Columbia (some UNREAL roads). I noticed there is some brake fade and I just want the brakes to perform a little better without dropping mad cash and getting a big brake upgrade. I was thinking of getting some HAWK pads OR some slotted rotors for the front. Which would give me the most increase in braking performance? Is there anything else that I could do? would re-bleeding the brakes do anything? (the brakes currently work as a honda sedan should... nothing special but nothing wrong) Thanks guys!
you can get some kick *** pads, but on used discs, probably grooved a bit, it's not the best option.
I'd score some new discs, set of Front Brembos drilled, and some PBR or Hawk pads.
Keep in mind, that with a higher performance pad, there will be more brake dust.
