h2b b series wiring harness?
ok guys have the chance to go grab a obd0 b16 vtec harness for cheap, can i use that or does it need to be obd 1 like the h22 that i have, an i was planning on using a chip n tune p28 ecu which is obd1,,,, so does that mean i would also need a 0bd0 to obd1 jumper harness....
thanks i got it figured, my teg is a obd1 so iam grabing a gsr obd1 vtec harness that iam driving 4hours for, with the p28 ecu, that should make may life easier n cleaner
ok guy, i have a 94 teg obd1 non vtec, iam dropping a 95 jdm h22a obd1 vtec engine in it, i already have a obd1 p28 ecu, a obd1 gsr (obviously vtec harness).. my question is, iam not quiet clear on if i still have to run vtec wires to the ecu manualy, just like i would do if i were to use my stock b18b non vtec harness, can some one clearify this for me, and if so, can someone give me a quick explanation on what i need to do.. and it was only a 2hr drive lol, thanks guys...
If your chassis harness does not have the vtec wires you will need to add them. All the pinout info you need is here http://www.ff-squad.com/technet/

ok first thing, your doing a EG SWAP, not DA- that integra car code.. iam about 98% sure you can use your d series vtec harness, reason being( when i swapped a nonvetc b series engine in a nonvtec ek civic i had to use his d series wiring harness) so i dont see why you wouldnt be able to use it, correct me if iam wrong guys, and i am 100% sure your fuel pump is fine unless your planning on doing major perfomance mods, then its a given to change it ...
ok thank you ,,,,,umm i have another question ..so if i use the d series v tec harness will it fit into the injectors BUT !! the guy i got the h22 engine from put mitsubishi blue injectors in there....so will have i have to swich to stock h22 injectors like wats da deal wit dat ????
no it won't- ok what your going to need to do is cut and splice the injector plugs from the h22 to your d series harness, make sure to match up the colours they should be colour coded, also the injectors shouldn't matter just seems like he upgraded them.. before you start this swap you should fine out if there was anything wrong with the engine or why he sold it, so when you start the swap it saves you time from chasing small problems that he already know just a tip...
lol i just realize you use (da) alot instead of saying (the), you need watch that when your asking question, lol ,later man your welcome..
yea i know it might confuse people its just a habit.. u know the text slang idk ttyl etc.....but what about the radiator can i use the civic one or does that have to be changed as well?
ohh sorry man i totally missed that question,, yeah the civic rad is ok to use, but most guys are upgrading it to the dual core radiator found in some delsol, your stock rad is fine if your on a budget but it would be a good idea to upgrade considering your going from a 1.5-2.2 L engine.. either way your going to have to do some playing around to fit upper rad hose, iam in the process of doing mine now but i got a good deal on a koyo rad brand new in box for 150, so i gotta do some fabing to make it work in my dc2...
