here is a picture of my engine bay, my iat sensor is in the silicone coupler right before my intake manifold, if you look you can see it. anyway i have to be leaking boost from that hole because its not air tight, so what options do i have?
I have the solution on my site, but last time I said it, the post got deleted, so I won't mention it, lol.. Basically, have a fitting welded onto the charge pipe that holds the IAT..
Just use some silicone to put around the sensor to make it air tight. My buddy just drilled a hole in his tubing and put some clear silicone around it so it doesn't leak.

I've said it before and now again, even in the thread Locash got deleted from. B20 screw in sensor, there are other hondas that have scerw in sensors. Just get one and weld a nut to your charge pipe. Screw it in with teflon tape, extend wires if necessary and call it done. Its not rocket science. If you use the sensor that B16/GSR have that bolt into the intake manifold you can make something up or I think Locash said he knows of something that will work with that style. Either way, sell the plug in style to another 99-00 civic owner and get a screw/bolt in style and be done. It works with the ECU so dont worry about asking that question next.
