ok well i got the cam (up) stri up and the flaywheel mark stiri up but the timing on the time gear i think its called is like stir down instend what do i do help

 

what do you mean "time gear"? this is how i set the timing on my motor after replacing the head gasket, i did this with the head on also, differs but anyway, i put the crank pulley at tdc, with the mark on the pulley on the crank facing straight up, my cam gear was off so slide the belt off, leave the crank pulley alone, i just turned my cam gear forwards or backwards till it was also tdc, becarefull when doing this mine was only off by so many teeth, you can hit the pistons with the valves i believe if you need to turn it to much,if you do turn the crank pully till the pistons drop back down, then continue adjusting have fun good luck

 

what marks on the flywheel the three marks or the one behindd it

 

whats the 3rd gear the middle one off to the right does that one matter where its set at

 

flywheel? you dont need your tranny off to do this, what the hell are you talking about
