What size is the center bolt on the steering wheel?
I have a '91 civic hatch with some garbage aftermarket wheel on it. I was looking through a junkyard today to find a din for my radio when lo and behold I found a stock steering wheel in perfect condition. I had a socket wrench set on me but they were all too small. What size do I need to get?

19... tire iron... i do it quite often. make sure you put the wheel back on straight though... i hate taking my wheel off then having it only 1 tooth off and its tilted
You might have to turn the wheel a little while struggling to break the bolt loose, but then put the steering wheel perfectly straight before removing it all the way. Then you can put the wheel back on straight without any guesswork.

19mm and 3/4 are nearly identical, the inside of my 3/4 socket measures 19.2 mm on my caliper, while the 19mm measures 19.6.
As I said, 3/4 works. No fear of stripping it at all.
not like i said use a 1/2 inch on a 12mm. 19mm and 3/4 are one of the only perfectly interchangable sizes.
