I recently picked up an SI exhaust tip for my dads DXG civic. I put it on, tightened the bolt as far as the bracket would allow me to and the tip is still mobile. I can move it with not too much force, pull it off to a certain point where I need to yank it a bit and it comes right off....does anyone know if this tip is too big for the tailpipe of the dx-g and does anyone have a possible solution to my problem???

you can always Weld it on.

 

I know the actual mufflers are different so I'm betting the tailpipe is smaller on your dads car
