ok well i was guna hold off a little longer but its killen me ok so here it gose i bought a 90 hf for 700 bucks hopen it would last longer then it did but ya kno things dont always go as planed and its shot wont go no more then like 15 mph and it smokes so i was like hmm ill find a d moter and just throw it in soo i looked around and none to be found but i did find a b18a1 for a 100 bucks and it has auto trany (witch i removed) and now im just guna do a b swap so i started to pull all the stuff outa the rex and have been cleenen up the block alot suprizing what a little elbow grease can do but the reason its guna be slow is im a 17 year old on a min wage job and the only reason im not doing a cheeper build is cus i cant find a moter and this one was cheep hopen to get it on the road by summer or little after but heres some pics for ya

ps if yall have any b parts for cheep that would help still in need of a lot

How many miles are on the B18?

 

the guy sayed about 100k and i have it on an engen stand and an impack cant evan turn over the moter so its got good compretion and all the plugs have a the browensh tent so it was running good when it was in a car suprizing i havnt found anything wrong with it for only 100 bucks besides a few missing bolts but thats nothen

 

should be a pretty quick hf after the b18 is installed. do you know the running condition of the b18? maybe a freshening up of the engine may need to be performed.

btw, love the hatch corner light there lol!!

 

lol yea this thing came with a complet hatch front everything lol dono but it throws mud everywhere when i drive without a fender so i pulled the front end off my parts car and wone of the fenders was busted and didnt have one conner light but and ive checked the plugs and they look good so i think it was running good when it was running and it has a new timing belt on it i will changed the oil and filter but thats the onlything as of now that i have to change i think a couple cencers are broken too

 

well thats good to know about the engine. im going to be swapping to, but not to a b lol.

 

looks like a good start... but if the motor is on an engine stand you wouldnt be able to turn it... its early so maybe im wrong...

 

why wouldnt u be able to turn it all the moving parts are free to spin lol but its raining and realy cold out today so i dont think im going out today to work on it

yo jarred i've got an engine lift. i'm not gonna be in town this weekend, probably next though. i'll let you know.

plus i need the glove box off the donor car. i'm getting a radio, the quiet drives from Cape are suckin it hard.
