i have a b20b but i wanna kno if its the high compression 1

 

The b20b is the lower compression 96-98 CRV motor. THe higher compression (99-00 CRV) is the b20z.

 

It's true, the 99-01 model B20's were the higher compression models. USDM = B20Z, JDM = B20B

The 2 best ways to tell the difference are:

- look for a knock sensor on the back of the block

- engine has a low rise intake manifold and air reservoir

The 99-00 jdm B20B is exactly the same as the usdm B20Z found in 99-01 Honda CRV's.

As far as supercharger goes, any Jackson Racing B18B will fit. You'll have to buy used because they don't make them any more
