Default Crank Pulley lines for TDC

My manual tells me that to set the engine to TDC, the crank pulley on my 95 GSR is suppose to have a white line that i would need to line it up with the plastic cover.

Now i believe the problem is that the white line on my crank pulley wore out. After examining the crank pulley, i found 3 groves or etches pretty close to each other on the crank pully and another etches about an inch away from from those 3.

Which one was suppose to be the white line that line up to the plastic peice for TDC?

Anyone knows?

As I remember, TDC is the last notch. It's not the three but the one an inch away. You can also check the cam gears to see if they line up at TDC.

Can you take out the crank pulley? If so, there is a mark to line it up at TDC that way thats extremely precise. however, the mark BY ITSELF after the first 3 is the white mark and TDC. make sure your cams are at TDC as well also. If you don't know how to do this please ask before trying to start your car. Good luck bro.
