i bought a 91 hatch off a buddy, and the dash has a big hole in it from where a drunk kid put a screw driver (long story). im wondering if theres any other dashs that would fit with some mod? i have a 97 civic that im takin to junk yard prob next week. wondering if that dash would fit or not? i know its not gonna be a direct fit, but i dont wanna have to do alot of modifying to make it work? (Gets flame suit on)

 

Yes it will and yes its a lot of work. I've seen integra, prelude, civic dash's in crx and nothing beats the orginal.

 

x2, if you want a dash swap just get the same one lol, junkyard ect, there everywhere you just have to find them, i like the ones in the efs, i mean ya i would love to have a ek one with ek door panels that would be so fatal, but all kinds of fitment problems come into place i dont want my civic to be ***** rigged excuse my language but keep it clean

 

It's possible. But tearing down my eg today I noticed there is no way I could even begin to try to mod a eg dash in to a ef. It's all your call on how much work you want to do but I'd stick to what came with.

 

just put a crx dash and center console...looks much better then the hatch console imo

 

i was thinking about an ek dash just because i miss my ek, and i think it would really make the interior feel a lot more modern..which i think is the only thing keeping me from loving my ef hatch as much as i loved my ek coupe.

Just did this in my 91 hatch fits great and looks better.

 

X2 by far the most attractive dash for 4gen civics. If not dat then add the tried and tru integra center to the mix you have now n rock out with your **** out.

 

ima have to go to the junk yard this weekend then and look for a crx dash. i think i know where some are at the one!! thanks guys! and thanks for not flaming
