No...Pro2s or Pro3s won't put down any more power than Pro1s. There's no reason Skunk2 makes 3 different cams with different specifications...it's all just a marketing ploy!

The Pro1's have larger primaries than the Pro2's.

I haven't measured them, but I'm sure Don or Tom could give you that information.

Funny, cuz when I talked to Don on the phone the other day he said the 2's were a bit larger.

^ haha, was wondering about that for a while myself too, and then finally found it:

Also, in your profile, if you change the default quick reply formatting to advanced it will give you a drop down menu of the smillies.

Are you talking about the primaries? I don't know who to believe because I'm sure both Tom and Don have measured pretty much all the cams on the market.

In the thread I linked the Skunk2 sales exec argued against Tom, but in the end he conceded (after checking with his technical staff) that the regular Stage3 cams have smaller primaries than the Stage2's. Perhaps they did the same thing with the Pro cams.

I was under the possibly mis-informed impression, the P1 has the same primaries as the P2. Although there was an initial batch of P1's (that Blox copied) Skunk revised to help the cams idle. And the P1 has more lift where the P2 has more duration.

can you use tuner series valve springs with pro 1 camshafts? or do you have to use
pro series valve springs.

Not that I know the answer to the question....but you'd get a quicker answer to your question if you made your own thread.
