Default D16A6-B18CR=Not enough fuel pump?

I pulled the plugs after some spirited driving and the car appears to be running pretty lean with the factory Si fuel pump. (light grey electrode)

Anyone know what a factory type R fuel pump puts out? I was just going to buy a type R fuel pump but the add says it works on 92+ vehicles.

97 spec JDM ITR swap with 98+spec header,bolt-ons,exhaust.

What I dont want to do is go with too big of a fuel pump that will raise the fuel pressure and make it run rich. I figured since the CRX has a return line on the fuel system you could run whatever fuel pump and just bypass the excess gas but I have read several threads to the contrary.

If I can run the factory type R intank pump that would be sweet.

Thanks for the replies guys. I am going to run a wideband just to make sure. I'll post up the results in a couple weeks.

I ran a stock D pump in my H22 hatch with no problems.

A little update, my car was indeed running a little lean at the top of 3rd and real lean at the top of 4th. I should have just changed out the ancient weak fuel pump starting out.

I installed a Type R pump and it was easy money.

BTW: If anyone finds this post with the search engine someday.

You cant access the fuel pump from in the car like many suggest on a 1988 CRX.

The pump is in the rear drivers side of the fuel tank and you have to drop the tank to change it.
