A buddy of mine is running Function 7 LCA's with CTR Sway bar setup on his EM1. He's wondering what endlinks will work with this setup.

His stock ones should work, if not get heim joint styled ones

You are correct.

I too run a CTR Sway + ASR + F7 LCA combo. However OEM EK9 endlinks cannot be used as bolt is not right size.

I had to use F7 spherical endlinks however i now find it too noisy for daily (as expected). Can you suggest which endlinks do fit F7 LCA + EK9 Sway on EK besides F7?

Only 2 other company that come to mind are: Hardrace and Blox

Anyone tried if those endlinks fit this setup?

well to bring this to life again, i am looking into Blox....i'm just wondering if they're a reputable company cause i've heard some things about Skunk 2.....so just wanting to make sure.

 

here is what a blox endlink looks like after 3 months on my friends car. He does not drive hard at all and this happened.



he was using an itr 22mm rear sway, asr brace, skunk2 lcas on his 98 hatch

maybe you just got a bad link ?

 

So what else people tried besides BLOX? Anyone using Hardrace (non spherical)? more suited for daily.

 

blox makes a non spherical for oem sway bars.

 

i called passwordjdm.com and talked to em for a bit.
Blox makes fantastic products apparently and the broken endlink may have just been a fluke.

Do you have a link or model number for the Blox endlink product you are using with your Function7 LCA? I am interested to see this as OEM replacement (rather then noisy spherical)

i'm not going to be using an F7, i'll be using a Megan Racing lca.

I have the blox endlinks, they are crap and bearly lasted a year. I will be replacing with function7.

I have them on my front 26mm, and 13mm rear sway bar.

im running an asr 24mm sway bar with the asr endlinks and i love the links idk if they will fit the function 7's but idk why they wouldnt lets hope they do cuz i plan on pickin some 7's up soon

I read on here that people were having the same probably with F7 end links as they do with BLOX. They are made by the same people, just packaged differently. I went with the BLOX after hearing that.

Yup, I did. Why would I pay $70 for the same blox end link repackaged and sold from F7 when I could buy the exact same thing for cheaper?

 

I am having a pretty hard time understanding this. What are you trying to say? Blox is better?



Blox endlinks suck

You didn't pay less for the same exact thing. You paid less, for a lower quality peice, that isn't going to last nearly as long. Yes, these endlinks will never last a really long time, but there are people who have years on the F7 endlinks. Where mine didn't make it a year.

The quality difference should be cristal clear, howver some i guess will just stick to buying low quality parts. My blox endlinks cost $36, F7 $49, spend the extra couple bucks and get the better part!
