now, i've always been one to not go "overboard" on wheelsize. all my cr-x have only rocked 15" (one set of 14"), my ek hatch 16", and now my coupe 16". personally, i've always thought that on my coupe, anything above 16" looks TOO big. i'm really close to picking up some 17" wheels, though, as they're og, clean as hell, and cheap! before picking them up, i'd like to see what this size looks like on a coupe (1999-2000 only, please). does anyone have any pics of a coupe on 17"? preferably mesh? if you can post them, i'd greatly appreciate it. thanks!

took the picture with the rims on only...never drove with the rims on. i know for sure itll rub my fenders. i want to have my fenders rolled so i can use these rims. its been collecting dust for a long time.

IMO they look too big. More importantly though and what matters, it that they give a realllllllly harsh ride.

Another thing to think about is that 205/40/17 tires cost more than 195/55/15 or 205/40/16 tires.

I like the wheels you're considering, just not too sure about the size. Plus, mesh rims kinda look weird when they're too big. Some rims you can get away with them being big, but i'm not so sure about mesh.

i don't know, i mean, i'm happy with the way the jdm itr flow with my car/color scheme, but i guess i'm really just looking for something new? found some enkei rpf-01, too...those were a possibility...

Dude the rims you have now look absolutely amazing on your car... 17's are too big for a civic. I have seen a few instances where they don't look too bad but the fact that the ride will suck, you reduce performance, and tires are more expensive seems like enough to keep it at 16's at the most... Its not an escalade...

 

noo, dont do it. your car looks perfect the way it is. heres how my em1 looks like on 17's. i dont like the look anymore, they tend to give my car the look of a 4x4 and they offer a rough ride. i think im gona stick w my 15's and sell off these.

it has been a long *** time. ive been good. im on illuminas and custom rated ground controls, you do feel alot more of the bumps then 16's. but its not bad. The only way to pull of 17s is you have to be dumped.

 

17's are fine for 96-00's. Go for it.
