Theere is a metal bracket hose that connects the breather hose located on the intake arm and valve cover, what is the purpose of this? On this same bracket, there is also a connection that connects a coolant line between the throttle body and head. Does anyone know why this coolant line is connected the way it is? It looks like most people just removed this bracket and coolant line via a soft rubber hose.
Thanks.
Thanks.
You can bypass that coolant line, but there's no great reason to depending on your goals. That setup was designed the way it is for ease of packaging and routing. It's not ideal. Most aftermarket intakes substitute that setup for 2 rubber hoses.
I see a cool air intake. It's got a NOS fogger system and a T4 turbo, Dominic. I see an AIC controller. It has direct port nitrous injection. Yeah. And a stand-alone fuel management system. Not a bad way to spend $10,000.
I kid.

most people bypass it and just run a hose for the coolant and a hose for the vacuum connection from the vc.
personally i rerouted the coolant line, and i plugged the nipple of the my aem short ram with a vacuum cap and i just have a breather filter on the vc.
