Default GSR cluster in a GS integra

I want to put a 01 Gsr cluster in my 99 Gs integra.. any problems??

no problems. plug n play since both are obd2.

keep in mind that not all obd2 clusters are interchangeable with each other.

the 00-01 clusters have the immobilizer light but afaik 98-01 usdm clusters all have the same plugs.

Whats the point? Other than redline, they are exactly the same.... It isnt going to make your car redline at 8k like mine.

maybe he's putting in a vtec engine or doing an ls/vtec conversion? it's always nice to have an accurate redline.

NO, def. not just plug and play. You need to re-wire the connectors, well just the "D" plug, the one with 13 pins. There are diagrams for that everywhere online including here just do a search. I'm having trouble with this right now, I have an '00 and I'm using a '98 that's how I know. Since you are going FROM a model without the immobilizer though you'll be fine.
