US Army goes JDM!
Today, the US Army has just announced its plan to give half of its Apache fleet a JDM makeover. Hmotors was awarded the contract to be the sole supplier of parts, beating out the other major bidder, twice as expensive, PasswordJDM.
The front end of choice was the EF8 since it bolts up with little or no modification.
The suspension will be upgraded to Tein coilovers to be able to land on tough terrains while still look cool at air show meets.
K series i-Vtec motor was also chosen for its high power output and low emission.
Additional details will soon be released to the public. So far, these new models will station worldwide except for in California since the new upgrades do not meet its BAR requirements.
