Default 96 accord brake flushing

I have already looked up in the fact and know perfectly well how to do it. Just wondering about how much brake fluid im going to need to flush out the whole system.

What exactly are you wanting to do? By flushing the whole system meaning - completely emptying the MC?

I think I was able to do mine with a little under a liter with ABS. BUT I switched to Super Blue so I was able to actually see a difference in fluid. I would imagine if you pick up a 1 L container of fluid you'll be more than fine.

2 pints should be enough.

make sure when youre pumping the brakes, DO NOT press the brakes all the way down. If your b.m.c. has a lot of miles on it, you can blow the seals and cause leaks. If possible, buy a tool to PUMP out the fluid, this way, you dont have to touch the pedal.

i do like the sound of pumping the fluid out rather then having to mess with the brake pedal as my car is at 237k miles and i don't think the cyclinder has ever been replaced. where could i get a tool to pump the system?

Ouch! 237k and same MC?

Switch it out - $140 at the local dealership or ~$115ish online shipped.

It makes a noticeable difference. I changed out my leaky one with a new OEM honda one. MUCH better braking.

if it aint broke, dont replace it. Inspect for leaks first tho.
this is the one i bought, it works darn well. all you have to do is insert the tube into your bleeder valve and vacuum it out.

230k is quite a lot 0 that's the mileage mine leaked at and while it was not leaking too much before that - replacing it made a ginormous difference. For the extra 20 minutes it takes to swap out it seems worthwhile, espcially if he's going through the trouble of flushing all the fluid anyways.
