Default Help!!!!!!!!! D15b7 wont turn?????

Bought a 92-95 civic hatch si shell. The shell has a obd1 abs underdash harness in it from the previous owner i bought the car from. I believe it's a obd1 integra harness, i don't know if i need it to be plug up to start the car or not, but anyways, i swap the motor in and when i turn the key for the fuel pump to come on, it doesn't. I don't hear my fuel coming at all. When i turn the key to start the car. I get nothing, not a sound, just the click from the key turning.

I asked some friends they said for me to check main relays and clear all crosions from the ground (the ground on the themrostat, tranny, and negative on the battery).

I replace the main relay with a working relay and clear all dirt or corosion on the grounds. Still i get the same things. Nothing.

Please if anyone has any idea what might be the problem. I would really appreciated it.

Are the crucial ground wires attached to the thermostat housing and transmission clean and tightly connected?

Do any dash light illuminate when the key is turned to ON(II)? Does the CEL stay ON?

Have you checked the ignition switch?

If it's manual transmission, have you checked the starter switch at the top of the clutch pedal?

Does the starter get battery power at the large Blk wire?

yes, the cel does stay on. haven't checked the ignition switch. yes, it's a manual. yes, checked that starter switch. that is the yellow switch right???????? i don't know on the battery power.

i need my fuel pump to work first, cause it suppose to come on before i even try to start it. i don't know why it's not coming on too....

Pull the CEL code from the ECU.

I was chasing the starter problem because it might reveal the problem with the fuel pump.

Have you checked whether the fuel pump gets power when the key is turned to ON(II)?

Have you checked whether the Blk/Wht wire on the starter solenoid gets power when the key is turned to ON(III) and the clutch is pushed down?

you need to check power like Ron said. But it sounds like a ground issue to me. Does your main relay click when you go to crank the car (if it does its ground for sure, since you said you replaced the relay already).

yes i know. Instead of cranking it will just clck the main relay (depending on how bad ur wiring is). In mine it would turn i belive but it would click the relay pretty bad.

Do you have a digital multimeter. If not, one can be purchased for $15-$20. It will be crucial in helping you pinpoint the problem. If the main relay doesn't click, then double check fuses 31, 24, and 18.

well, today finish installing the whole cx harness (to ecu), the original po6 ecu is still in good condition (used it on my sister's ex and it worked), switch fuel filter, checked all fuses, replace main relay, changed the underdash harness (the harness from driver speaker to the back speaker to the fuel pump plugs, Yes, that harness), went on to DOUBLE CHECK IF I DIDN'T PLUG UP ANY HIDDEN PLUGS. guess what guys.

IT STILL DOING THE SAME THING...M******* F*********....

when i turn the key (I), the beeping noise come on. when i turn the key (II) i don't hear the fuel pump activating or nothing, just on the cluster the oil and check engine light come on, the check engine light stays on forever too, it does not blink or anything, it just stays on. when i turn the key (III), NOTHING HAPPENS....

PLEASE ANYONE WHO MAY KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS, PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME OUT...THANKS.....

Have you tried to pull the CEL code? If you have and no code is retrieved, then test whether the MAP sensor is getting 5V from the ECU.
