Stamping on my motor?? B16A(WIN)
I have seen stampings all over a 1990 Integra GS I once owned. It was a 3 letter code with a long number for security. Maybe "win" was stamped on by the owner to identify all the parts that belong to his car. It may deter theives from stealing the car for the motor.... is this a JDM motor?
i think you guys are right, thats not oe. at one point the owner of the block stamped it. ive engraved my initials on my head, block, transmission too. it might not mean anything to insurance, but if i see the stuff in somebodys car someday...
what about this, i have a d16z with no engine id stamp at all, i figure its some sort of replacement block. wouldnt be warranty nowadays, maybe back then before honda recorded #'s, or an over the counter item.

I would contact who you got it from and make sure theres not a sweepstakes going on you didnt know about.
Kinda like the golden ticket. It would be a shame if you didnt come forward cause you didnt know.
