do i need a resistor box???
i just purchased a set or rc 1000cc injectors and i was told from the guy that i purchased from ,that i would need a resistor box since its over 550cc..is this true????
**i have a resistor box already,,but i dont want to burn my ecu

Yes it's true, injectors that large to require resistor boxes. I'm about 99% sure you can use any Honda one and be just fine
the way i understand it is if you have an obdI ecu and your injectors are running from 3-4 ohms of resistance you need a resisitor box. When it comes to the box anything that is providing you with 10 ohms of resistance will work, if you can't find one you could just go to radioshack and get four inline 10 ohm resistors. So if you want to make sure just test the resistance between the two prongs on your injectors the new ones will be 3-4 and if the old ones are 12-14 you need a resistor box. I know that is how it works when your using injectors that are different obd therefore i would think it would be the same for high performance injectors
Well I guess the debate has begun again..
To straight answer your question: just use an ohm meter on your injectors and if they are 2-4 then you need a resistor box to prevent your ECU from frying, period
