Default water leak part 2

I stripped the entire interior out after my 95 Accord EX 4D became a bird bath on the drivers side. Once the headliner and trim was removed I can see water seeping from the seam where the roof meets the A-pillar. Water appears out of the seam, runs down the door seal and into the floorboard. I suspected it was the windo seal so I added some additional goo to the corner (inside and out). Did not slow down one bit. Had rain last night so I duct taped the window around the top and sides to see if that helped...no change.

Anyone have a similar issue? Thanks.

Where do you live? Some states will cover the cost of windshield replacement, which would be a great time to inspect that area if you suspect it's a sealing issue between the glass and the body. Just a thought.

Obviosly yes! if the thing is damaged due to water seeping in then the seal is of a problem.

Working on this issue today I noticed something strange. With the sill plate installed in the drivers door, I can see a large stream of water entering over the plate and into the drivers floor. With the plate removed no leak.

Still have a seep from the top left corner running down the A-pillar, but that is not large enough to supply the leak I saw.

Anyone have any ideas..? Would make sense the door seal is failing but it looks ok.

Please forgive my ignorance. I'm having what seems to be the SAME issue with my 95 Accord EX. What is the A-pillar?

Thanks.
