scca its rules
i was looking at the its rule book and i notice it is not clear on whether u can remove the heater core and all of its pieaces can someone clear this up for me
Just replace it...? Is the leak the reason you want to remove it?
Multi-edit: Are you talking about the Civic in your sig, or what? If so, that looks a looooong way off from being ITS-prepared, so do whatever you want.

ekim952522000 is correct, you can not remove the heater core assembly for IT. Yes, you may remove the water lines that connect the heater core to your system, therefore a bypass is legal.
Personally, I didn't even run a bypass, I just blocked off the passages on the engine block/thermostat housing.
