Default TODA Racing Fightex Suspension

I was digging sround the TODA Racing site last night and started reading/drooling over the Fightex coilovers. When people are talking about suspension systems here on H-T the Fightex set ups are never mentioned (it is always Zeal, Buddy club, Tein). The Figtex Type FS has a spring rate of 10k/8k...

What do people think of these set ups? Does anybody have them and can share their impressions?

TODA Racing utilizes the latest design and manufacturing technologies to develop FIGHTEX coilover systems. FIGHTEX coilover systems should not be confused with cheaper height adjustable systems. The FIGHTEX system is complete and specifically tuned for every vehicle application. TODA Racing suspension systems are among with worlds highest quality and highest performing coil-overs systems. All development and manufacturing is done in house by TODA Racing.

the Fightex set ups are never mentioned
...because nobody can afford them

They do look very nice, but you can obtain a Buddy Club/Zeal S6 setup for 50% of the Fightex cost...

.....I had thought about them when I was trying to be "all toda all the time."

But the $ factor is huuuuge - especially when you consider that toda's North American distributor will not let any dealer's budge on the price.

Also, the rates aren't what I'm looking for...

I am curious though; whether or not you can get custom rates and swap springs from front to rear interchangably...

According to their site, you can order higher custom spring rates...

Cost + lack of user feedback (even in JDM land) = nobody willing to take a chance on them (IMO)

.....yeah lack of feedback, and the price tag turned me off too much.

I guess they're still in the running - if they're as good as the Super Functions.....

The race setup, which is what I'd be interested in, is around an additional $1,000 on top of that

Don't get me wrong, Ken. I'm sure the quality is impeccable, but the $$$ overshadows it, I'm afraid.

Jason-
who is sure he'll be quite happy with his future setup
