Can someone explain to me before i tear my tranny out what is wrong with it.
Before the clutch job i had stage 4 unsprung 6 puck clutch in it.
Ok wen i drive in any gear i lett of of gas and it starts wining and wen i lightly press the gas pedal it still makes the noise... getting anoying
I just did a hole clutch job, new exedy presure plate, new exedy clutch disc, new trow out bearing, and new flyweel bearing the little one in the flyweel and new honda manual tranny fluid. A new main bearing for a gsr tranny is about 80$ plus my own labor to tear it apart and putt it in and new oil so about $120is plus like a holle day to do the holle thing.
Is there any other bearing in the tranny that could be making the whining noises....? and shuld i change any other bearing in the tranny while i am at it... like seals and stuff like that...?
I KNOW THAT THERE IS A POST ABOUT THIS ALREADY. IT JUST DOESNT ANSWER SOME OF MY QUESTIONS SO I DECIDED TO START A NEW ONE. Thanks

There are a few in the tranny... i'd be inclined to think that the ones making noise are probably the diff bearings. If that is the case, its a good time to upgrade to an LSD at the same time as you will have to pull the diff to replace those bearings. Last i checked i think they ran about 75 bucks each at the dealer. That is the only way to get them as far as I know because the center ring of the bearing is wider than the outer ring. I couldn't find any none oem bearing producers that make a like bearing. Good luck to you. I had a similar issue with my gsr trans - it was the diff.

Mind as well as change the main bearing, seals and stuff like that..?
I just dont have the $ that shops charge these days to putt in new bearing into a gsr tranny so i will do it myself. ill go to the acura dealer and gett a write up on how to do it and i should be good with some help from friends who have done it before.
MORE INPUTT WOULD BE GREAT GUYS
Thanks
It's really hard to tell you what exactly is wrong with your tranny without being able to see it myself and even at that... i'd want to open it up to be sure; however, that is fairly common. If you are going to be opening the t-case up, you will definitely want to rebuild the trans while it is down.... don't skimp while it is open, more that likely it will cause you to have to go back in and possibly replace all the new stuff you put in the previous time. Just save yourself the time and money and do it right the first time... I've learned that the hard and costly way.
