http://www.frankscustomfiberglass.com/crx.htm

It's for a CRX, but the hood will fit a Civic 3dr hatch but WONT fit on a Sedan. Sedans have longer front ends on them for some reason.

It's 240 for a fiberglass or ~500 for a Carbon Fiber one. There is very minimal weight differences between Fiberglass and Carbon Fiber. Carbon fiber is more of a "bling" factor. My opinion is function > form. Way I see it is if you place 2 EF's next to each other one has a fiberglass hood and one has a Carbon Fiber hood, which do you think someone is going to steal first? The one with the CF hood, because it's prettier.

not necessarily. i had both my crx's one in front of each other. my 90 ls/v crx with a cf hood and a completely stock 89 crx with a primered black hood. ls/v crx had fogs n all that, and only the 89 crx was stolen. it all depends on what they need.

OP its all up to preference, if you want a fiberglass hood they can be had for around $200, if you really want a CF hood just be patient. i paid $200 for my VIS Carbon Fiber ZC hood.

Wow sorry to hear about the CRX...Most thieves will go for the stuff that has the best resale if they don't plan on using it. Atleast around my neck of the woods they do.
