Help on JDM HEAD LIGHTS!

Icon7 Help on JDM HEAD LIGHTS!

Can someone tell me on how to wire a jdm headlights they are like so different connections than the stock us headlights.

the connectors are different.
you have to splice in the wires...
did you get the bulb wiring harness's too?

attach your high beam power wire to the eg light harnesses high wire, and the low to the low and take the two grounds and connect them to the one ground on the eg harness

try that one guy

they are 89 crx jdm headlight and so the jdm ones haves like 2 or 3 wires and its only. its not like the us head light where u usually have the high beam connecter and the regular connection

that is all you need ot know. I will umm... spoon feed you.

1. Label all of the wires from both usdm headlight harnesses (grounds, high beam, low beam)

2. Cut the harnesses off.

3. Connect the grounds together, splice with the grounds from the JDM headlight harness.

4. Connect the high beam wire to the JDM high beam wire.

5. Connect the low beam wire to the JDM low beam wire.

6. You should be done. Have a beer or a smoke or something. That was some hard work...

alright thanks ill be working on it today then. this jdm front end was a hassle to put on also...lol

should have got an eg.
if you gonna try and be an ef owner, youre not about to complain.
its the shittiest front end to take apart and put together than any other civic ive ever worked on.

really you just gotta watch on the bolts by the door, i scratched up my new paint on my doors cause i was impatient about it, but really its just a car, its going to get scratched and banged.
