FAN switch location?

Default FAN switch location?

does any know here on a stock d15 motor of were the fan switch is located on the head or the thermostat housing i dont know which of the ones it is but could that be why my fan isnt turning on after 5 to 10 minutes when it gets hot? if anyone has a picture or anything that'll be great thanks.

it's behind the block.

it has two wires, it's on the back of the block under the manifold. cross the two wires and the fan will turn on! have fun...

oh thats why then i never hooked those wires because its an obd1 block and its from a d15b7 from a 92 civic dx and there was no spot to put the fan switch at so what do i do or does anyone know?

The top picture in the following thread shows the D15B2 which has the sensor on the back of the block.
The lower picture shows the back of the block of a D15B7 which has it located on the thermostat housing.

D16... which one?
A6 I know is on the back of the block.
Z6 and Y8 I believe are both on the thermostat housing.

yes i got an A6 and im goin to relocate it at thermostat housing like the 90 up d16/d15 or at the upper hose since it is the highest temp for better reaction to cooling. the way to go is make/fab an adaptor.

Any one know where the fan switch and coolant temp. Switch is on a 96 jdm b20b there's a what I think is fan on thermostat housing but nothing on back of block or under dizzy any Ideas??????

fan switch is on the thermostat housing. ecu temp sensor is on the side of the cylinder head (2 prong), temp sensor for gauge cluster is a 1 wire barrel shaped connector, also on the side of the head.
