Need advice piecing together hybrid B-series
I've got a b16 long block and B17 crank/rods/pistons. I'm planning on having the block sleeved and bored to 85mm, using the B17 crank and eagle rods. This is going to be a daily, and everything is going to be track-ready for when the time comes, so I'm going for ~12:1 compression, and an aggressive, high-lift, high-duration cam (I've been pointed towards BuddyClub IVs, but give me input). As far as off-the-shelf pistons, should I look for 85mm B20v pistons? or with there be interference issues?
I am going to get the head fully built, as well as a fully built tranny, so I need something that has no problem revving high under applicable circumstances. I don't care if it idles like it has Toda Vtec Killers. Fuel and tuning will be dealt with separately.
I realize it's such a generic thread, but search results praise everything out there, and I realize that to make the most of my motor, I need to piece together the correct components. Please leave sarcastic comments aside, and don't tell me to search. These aren't generic questions, because I have very specific requirements but don't know what components work with what, nor first-hand experience with reliability on parts - I'm trying to do this right the first time and your help will be appreciated
Please help me out if you're knowledgeable!
Pistons - ____________ (Arias, CP, JE, Supertech, Wiseco, OTHER)
Rods - ____________ (Eagle, Crower, OTHER)
Cams - ____________ (Buddy Club, Rocket, S2, Toda, OTHER)
Valve Springs - ____________ (Blox, Buddy Club, Crower, S2, Supertech, OTHER)
Retainers - ____________ (Ti or SS?)
Valves - ____________ (Blox, Buddy Club, Crower, S2, Supertech, OTHER)

The b16 and b17 block are the same, it's basically gonna be a b17 bored out to 85mm. I don't know all the measurements and details, but b16/b17 have a shorter deck height than b18/b20 blocks. That's the first thing to look at. Next thing to look at would be the rod stroke and height of the wrist pins on those pistons.
I think there's a couple of compression calculators that had inputs for all the b-series combinations, cranks/rods/pistons, it would calculate piston to deck height. Another thing to take a look at is the wrist pin issue itself. Putting b16/itr/gsr pistons on b18b/b20 rods requires machine work in some or most cases, what your doing is just the opposite and would probably require work also.
Custom pistons rather than off the shelf pistons might be the much simpler solution, those companies would know the measurements and requirements for your setup.
