so some punks try breaking in my integra sunday night. i suppose they set the alarm off and busted my rear hatch glass when they took off. my question is whats the difference between 94-01 LS hatch glass and 98-01 GSR hatch glass? my integra is a 98 GSR but the lowest replacement price quote i got is 757 installed. so im thinking i should just go find a replacement hatch from the junk yard. found a couple 94-97 LS hatches will they work the same, and what are the differences? thanks in advance.

also...$757 is extreme IMO anyways. I would say get a friend and do it yourself. here are the two main pages you need.

their the same really, just the ls hatchs' have a 3rd brake light..and the type r's have the 3rd brake light that says type r when braking haha.

 

u can get a lexan shatterproof hatch window on summit racing for like.. 250... im not sure on the legality of the street though

Ya but then next time you have your visitors they won't go for the rear window. Any way to garage it? Cause this is all I ever hear is vandalism and thief, Happens to the best of us haven't had my day yet but if they really want it they will get it eventually. Sad story and sorry to hear it but you ever take into consideration oh easy it is to get into our ignition and start it with a screw driver? It's cake and it's too bad alot of ppl know about it with Civics and Tegs. All I can say is good luck in the future man they already know where yours is.

sorry, i didnt read the whole thread, so i dont know if this was mentioned

but i have a 95 GSR, my friend has a 2001 GSR, i dont know when it changed over, but the release mechanism is different between the years, i would assume 98+ got the change, but who knows

i have actually compared our hatches side by side, so idk how it works, i just know the release is different
