Default JDM LS or B20, non-vtec, need suggestions

Alright, now I'm deciding between this two only. BTW the b20 is the 96-98 one. I want to keep it non-vtec and I need your opinions. I prefer the JDM LS because it has more horsepower and less torque which means I won't spin that much. I only plan to build the head on either motor I go with and I know JDM LS have more compression than US ones. At most, I will do arp rod bolts to be safe. I'll be doing pretty much the same setup as this guy. Plus the LS will be a little more rev friendly.
