Well i this whated to ask what is the size of the speakers in the back of an 91 honda CRX Si???

 

i think 5 1/4's stock or i know some people put 6.5" in

 

Yeah I tryed the 6.5 and they didn't fit... Well then i'm goin to try the 5 by 1/4's tomorrow. Hey thanks.

 

This was oddly helpful. I'm picking up some speakers this week for my DX.

 

you can make 6.5's fit, just have to get creative. i have 6.5's in the front as well

 

............ Wait??? Well I have an DX to but I got the speakers but now I need to get the brackets. The DX don't come with them?



This sicks.

 

They make brackets to mount the speakers. If you trim the bracket it is easy to fit 6.5 or even 6 3/4" oversize speakers. I even ghetto rigged some 6x9 speakers but you have to be a little creative.

yeah that sounds about right, but if you go to any audio store to buy any speakers, they can look it up on their computer, and even if you dont want new ones, im sure if you called em up they would be more than happy to give the the specifications

 

I also have 6.5's all around.. Actually I just put my rear speakers in this weekend.. I only had to trim the speaker pods a little bit..



and you might need to cut into the plastic shelf depending on the speaker

Edit: I followed the texture difference as a guide.. you can see where the 'rough' part of the pod meets the smooth part .. I cut along that and my speakers fit like a glove.. its like they knew..!
