Icon2 How to attach fender panel trim strip

Please help me re-attach the trim strip to the front fender panel and bumper face of my 1998 Honda accord.

Details
There are black plastic trim strips around the front fenderwells of my Accord (see Fig). They were attached to fender panel and bumper face with an adhesive. In order to remove the fender face, I peeled the trim off of it (dissassemble now, regret later). How do I reattach it? What is the recommended adhesive? It needs to hold under all weather, yet allow disassembly.

a silicone adhesive/glue should do the trick.

Take that crap off! Its aftermarket junk and it will develop rust under it! My 92 had that **** when I got it and 3 out of 4 wheel wells are rusty.

Thanks for the information, guys!

RTV sounds good, but I will inspect around the strip and then decide what to do. It looks good, but if it is not functional or causes harm, I may do without it.

Negative, it is not aftermarket most likely, my 97 VP has them.

Just any type of adhesive will work, 3M trim tape may work but it probably thicker than what you're looking for.
