h22a with h23 tranny will it work?
Any H/F-Series Trans will bolt to any H/F-Series Engine.
Except for the F-Series relating to the S2000.
Gearing is different in every Transmission.. Otherwise, why else would there be different ones?

lol f series trannys have longer gears.. i think h22a1 and h22a have to short of gears in both trannys i like the h23 out of all of them if only it came with lsd
Sorry.. I forget about the ATTS Specific Blocks/Transmissions.
Yes, Type-SH and Type-S Blocks/Transmission are only compatible with each other.. A Non-ATTS Transmission can be mounted to an ATTS-Block with an Adapter.
Actually the JDM Accords have the shortest gears..

Im hoping it will work because I can not find another h22 tranny, and this dude I know has blown motor and is parting his h23, so Im getting it from him. CROSSING FINGERS!
For the record, that doesn't mean it's a good idea. The H23 gearing is taller, which will kill your acceleration. This transmission is typically only used in turbo applications (when it's not the stock tranny).
the change in acceleration IMO is not that significant. it does hurt a little, but not too much...and the s2k transmission can be mated with an h22. its been done before
I've been loving my H23 transmission with my H22a, saved money that I already didn't have anyways. I do feel it could accelerate a bit faster with the H22 transmission though.
