Default Which ECU for LSV, P30 or P28

I have a gsr in my 97 teg, I am currently using a p30 with the GSR motor but soon will be dropping in a LSV. Can I still use the P30 or do I have to switch to the P28 I have laying around. My only concern is that with the LSV I won't have a knock sensor and I am not sure if that can be eliminated with the P30. I am just trying to figure out which one I can sell.

BTW, they are both currently chipped with chrome.

As long as they are chipped, with a proper program on the chip in the ECU, either ECU would work fine.
