How much would you spend for a timing belt?
I'm thinking about replacing my timing belt, and ran into price ranges of $30-$100.
How much would you guys spend on a timing belt? and Why? Just need some advice before I actually get one.

OEM, Gates, or Goodyear Gatorback. All are good. All can be had for under 60 bucks.
Only a handfull of built motors will need a Toda. Most likely, you do not.

Just don't forget to change the water pump and tensioner while you are in there.
I bought a Dayco belt from an auto parts warehouse online and it was just fine for me. At $31.00 I could hardly pass it up and considering I just go back and forth to work in the car, I wasn't terribly concerned.

'cept and OEM one is not $9.00 more for a 94 LS. AcuraOEMParts has it discounted down to about $58.00 from the MSRP of $71.00.
Sure, it's only $27.00 difference, but, on the other hand for my application the Dayco will suffice. Regardless of the brand you choose, those "no-name" manufacturers don't sell their belts hoping they are going to break. There would probably be a lot of lawsuits out there if that were the case.
For being able to get a timing belt, water pump and new tensioner all for $105.00 shipped to my door (I'm pretty certain that was the total), good for me! haha This is purely my preference and I encourage others to come to their own conclusions. This is not the first time I have no used and OE Honda timing belt and I have not had any premature failure in them.
get Greddy timing belt!!! they are a little bit better than OEM...i like OEM, but sometimes when you wanna smash it...you rather get Greddy!!!!!!!!
