I have a civic eg with a 98 Integra motor -Stock- & i was wondering what's the redline number for Ls motor?

 

Iam sometimes confused by what exactly people are asking when they want to know there redline!

do you want the redline as in the red marks marked on the original cluster? dont have the answer for that nor would it be usefull at all IMO!

do you want to know at what rpm the fuel cut comes in? 7200rpms

do you want to know at what rpm it is best to shift an where the powerband starts to drop dramatically? I wouldnt take it higher than 6700 rpms, it becomes pointless to do so IMO!

 

i personally wouldn't even take it past 4 Grand

the LS motor isn't even fun to beat on

It is with a B16 tranny..Trust me.

 

lol stock cable trans in my 93 ls sucks , 1st is a joke it winds out too fast, and even if you take 2nd gear to hell blow out at like 7500 ur not gonna go anywhere so mind as well shift cuz i think redline is 8 k.

Yeah i think 72 sound's right. after 6k feel's like that's where the powerban is at. i miss my 90 lx accord. pull's harder than this x4 but it is 2.2l and Ls is only 1.8l damm i miss my cb. Dam...

It's ls motor with gsr tranny.

How much dose the turbo kit run for ls motors?

the redline is 72 but its making no power than, i think they stop making power in the low 6's, and idc what anyone says i think their fun to beat on along with b20s

 

The 94-01 LS redline is 6,800.

You can take it to 6800 according to the gauge, after that it would be in red line. I think thats what you are asking.
