I got a quote from them for 3000 just to get the outside painted. I think thats way to much...

 

Not really. Most reputable places charge 4-5k to paint the entire car inside/out. With paint work you get what you pay for.

 

3k is a very reasonable price

 

nICE EK.. And yes 3k seems steep to some but I haven't seen any ugly paint jobs come out from mob..

 

$3000.00 is steep? lol Where I live paint is ballpark $5000.00. Try that on for size.

Part of it is where you live as well. Different states have different labor rates.

 

3k is steep for just the outside.

 

^ but who knows what the **** was wrong with the outside of his car.

 

Thanks. I know quite a few people that scoffed at the price of my paint job, and MOBworks prices in general, but these are the same people that have either had to paint their car multiple times or just put up with orange peel, runs, chipping, and fading because they got a "deal". The $3,000 I paid was completely worth it imo. It turned out amazing. Not to mention, Miguel puts a lifetime warranty on his work. So as long as you have the car if you have a problem with the paint or workmanship he'll fix it for free. MOB

 

It was 3k for a paint job with minor door dings. Its all good I got someone else to paint my car.

 

Are u happy with the way it came out or do u say to yourself I should have saved more money and get it done right the first time and gone to mob.

 

To me, im very picky when it comes to paint, I like my **** smooth and shiney like if its from the factory, lots of cars ive seen painted have alot of waves on the doors, and wen they get buffed you see the marks and the uneven coats of paint. But from what Ive seen this place looks like they do a legit job.

Only if they had a legit body shop like these guys, id get my car painted pronto

 

I'm sure there is in your area just gonna take alot of research to find one. Btw Texas ain't too bad of a distance my grandma drives out there one a year.
