how can i make 6.5" speaker fit the front of my 93 eghatch?
i got some 6.5" speaker that i want to put in the front but it seems like its bigger than the stock ones. how can i make it fit? do they sell any brackets that will be a direct fitment cuz i dont want to cut my door panels or anything like that.
It depends on the speaker you have but you will not need to cut the door panel.
Best way, [for any speaker] is to replace the stock plastic speaker housing with a custom MDF speaker housing.
No, there are no aftermarket MDF housings, you will have to make your own, or have them made.
There may be easier ways to get them to fit, will need a make and model of the speaker to know for sure. 94

Your speakers are "over-sized" 6.5", [5.59" mounting diameter] and the stock speakers are "standard" 6.5", [5" mounting diameter].
DO NOT cut plastic housing to make the 5" mounting hole diameter into a 5.59" hole, it can't be done properly to allow for a proper mounting of the speaker.
Not sure how well the adapter plates will work, depends on what their mounting hole diameter is, how thick they are and what kind of seal they will provide for the speaker.
speaker mounting depth is 2", [stock] yours are 2.87", the adapters are only 3/4", [.75"] thick, you would still need to cut the backs out of the stock housings so speaker magnet would clear, [although not a biggie]
Keep these things in mind for proper speaker install..
Speaker needs an airtight seal around it's mounting surface.
Speaker needs to be mounted to an absolutely flat surface.
The more mass a speaker is mounted to the better it will sound.
A speaker mounted to wood will sound better then the same speaker mounted to any other material. 94
