Icon3 1992 Acura Integra GSR (B17): Slippy clutch, what should I do???

Hey there. I just bought a 1992 Acura Integra GSR (the real DB2) for $1200.00. It is in kind of rough shape with 360,000KM on the body, and an unknown amount on the "rebuilt" engine, (B17 Vtec) from what the previous owner has told me..

Anyways, I just started to notice that when the car is on, and you try to shift, it feels really, really, really sloppy... Like, its hard to tell if your in gear cuz you can practiacally move the shifter with you finger from left side, to right side, no matter what gear your in. (For example: every gear feels like neutral cuz its so sloppy) Today when I thought it was in neutral, it was actually in gear and it stalled.. I seriously thought that I put it into neutral because you could move it around, from one side to the other side, but it turns out that it was actually in gear... I have not yet got a chance to drive this car because the clutch just got changed and I bought it very recently, so I would like to fix this problem before I happen to miss-shift by mistake.

So my question to you is, what is this problem exactly, and how do I get it fixed?? Thank you, and if you know, please leave a reply.

Judging by the year of the vehicle you should replace the shifter bushings. It should take all that sloppyness out

+1. they are like $16 from Robearracing.com and only take about half an hour to install.
