Ive got my daily driven civic, its nothing special, and its purple. I get plenty of **** about the color so lately I've been thinking about getting it painted. Now I don't know anything about paint, but I do know sometimes people will just sand down their stock clear, and spray another color on top of it or something like that. Basically what Im asking is if theres any way I can make This purple paint fresher, or a lot less girly?
any suggestions or ideas would help and I am a noob so go easy on me
also I dont plan on keeping the black wheels, so wheel color suggestions would be good too.

Just respray the same color. Get some white wheels. **** will be fire!!!!

+1, I don't see many really nice cars that color, if it were me, just freshen it up and pick your wheels wisely to set it off.

 

paint the mirrors and the hood and all the trim the same color and some nice wheels and it will be great.

Well I had these blue Jmags on there for a little while but I got rid of them, I needed some quick money... If I stick with the purple it'll have to be somethin polished probably.
I also ordered stock tail lights because the ones on there were "smoked" by the previous owner.
spoon mirrors are also on the way
I was thinking Polished slips
I was gonna match my lugs with my tow hooks and control arms, I was thinking maybe Blue, any ideas for that?

 

keep the purple!! The purple coupes are the best.. Will look great on some polished wheels

Do Gold/Polished accessories... Blue and Purple don't seem like a good combo...

 

I decided Ill keep the car purple being as the engine bay and everything else are all one color and I wanna keep it that way. So yesterday I picked up a new Garrett super 60, I got a good deal on it, and the turbo I have on there now is way too big and doesnt spool til 5500, and its old. today on the way home from work my cheap stainless turbo manny decided to let go and drop my turbo and downpipe on the road, but it held on with the ic piping and oil lines... so im probably gonna get with spoolin performance, and get their manifold, downpipe w/ e-cut, and dumptube combo. So Ill have to put the appearance issues in the back seat for a little bit longer... Ill post pics after I get some things straightened out.

but it would be ballin to see some of anodized purple RLCA's
Ill probably just go with polished slips and gold lugs
and polished asr subframe brace with gold RLCA's, Ill have to look into the purple ones...
