best way to lower the R?
people aways say to get coilovers, or better yet one piece coilovers. most of the population really only needs is some lowering springs.
you just want your car to be lower? get some springs. wanna be baller hardparker? get some $1500 one pieces and a bunch of useless bars. wanna hit the road course? RESEARCH in the suspension/track forums.
whats on my R? option 2 (baller). but it was on the R when i bought it
personally i love the Koni/GC custom rates setup (option 3). found that with my research and experience that its an awesome setup.

whatever brand of lowering springs you decide upon, make sure that the spring rates are comparable to stock, if not better. you don't want to use the first set of lowering springs you come across and blow your stock shocks, which are pretty good to begin with.
in other words, don't pull an itrmyke, haha.

If you are just looking to lower, get some Koni's and set the ride lower on the shocks. The stock springs are great and with some Koni's it will stiffen it up a bit and lower it a little.
PIC makes an awesome product as well. Will cost probably about the same as the koni/gc. They also can get custom spring rates for you, but they also allow you to adjust the ride height independently of shock piston travel. Thats a big plus for me. I have the koni/GC set up on my car right now, and if I had to buy a new set up tomorrow it would be the PIC's. Worth looking into at least.
damn forgot about that. i change my mind, go with the Koni yellows, if its still not low enough you can still get some Eibach springs.
