87 civic sedan B16 swap
Axles from HAsport, 86-89 Integra hub assemblies to work with the Axles, transmission, intermediate shaft, wiring conversion from dual point to multipoint, and I highly recommend upgrading to OBD1.
is this something i could do in my garage over a couple week period buy myself or a pipe dream.i've done motor swaps befpre but never honda and i dont know anything about the wiring...
HASport has the conversion harness.. mounts.. axles. and shift linkage.
obd0 to 1 jumper harness will work for.. Plug in play.
Simple... Yes you can do it..
Add a fuel pump to your build.

You can do it in a few weekends in your garage, however since your car requires a lot of wiring changes, I would suggest contacting Hasport about having them modify your harness for the swap.
do you know were i can buy some sidedraft carbs and a header so i can go a little faster until i gather all my parts i cant find em anywhere but i have seen 1500cc 87's with sidedrafts and headers.until i crank down my torsion bar and cut my rear springs my car looks goofy sitting so high on my integera fat fives.i want some rota's and a swap and then it will be a nice little sleeper 2 take care of some ef's n eg's n ek's huh?

Well if I remember right that car is carbureted , so you would need to swap out the fuel system... and fuel injection wiring as well to make it a FI car. And again... the mounts... the axles and modded shift rods
...it sounds like he is in way over his head. As bodboyr66 pointed out the original posters car is carbed; there is no wiring harness to convert and no fuel system to support a FI engine. This is definitely not plug and play nor will it be easy.

Well he is right though. It is not an easy swap.... it is not even that easy of a swap on and SI... and that is fuel injected already. We are not saying it is not doable....but it would be best to find a wrecked SI car and swap everything over. That would at least cover a major aspect of the swap... the wiring. Everything else can be sourced.... but it gonna cost some serious time.... and some money. But again doable
i thank i'll buy that honda swap book i seen 4 40 bucks and contact hasport or something,i dont know i always wanted a honda but couldnt afford one then this car fell into my lap 4 50 bucks wheels trade, and a friend has a B16 will see what happens i really want 2 do the swap on this car i want a eg hatch but moneys tight thats why i'm tryin 2 build somethin outta nothin all buy my lonesome... a ghetto kid who took 1 ride in a ef hatch with gsr motor and know is obsessed with the H peace...
honestly save your money and get an EG. i hate to say this but you'll only get more frustrated when you find out you can't really buy any suspension pieces, and they don't make stuff for your car. 1gencrx is completely correct about what he said, although i guess it could have been taken harshly. if you don't know about these cars you should probably keep your mouth shut instead of leading someone on.
i've never seen this "honda swap" book, but in all honesty, i don't think anyone would really cover this specific of a swap.. i've seen more than one person pick up a pre 88 civic only to get discouraged and not want to deal with anything about them. happened just 2 weeks ago.
go to redpepperracing.com and do a lot of research and then make a decision, but i can almost gaurantee that you'll want to just drive it for now and save the B series for an EF or EG..
just my advice.
if you do decide to do the swap, we are here for help.

I have to say that I would probably personally try a different car and a different swap.
I guess there's nothing wrong with carburettors, though, even in 2009, assuming you don't have to worry about any state inspections testing that would make it difficult to pass inspection with carburettors.

They are blocking RedPepperRacin g now, guess too many people tell 1g/3g to check out the info there...now I can't post up my pics anymore.
I hope they correct it soon

oh, not in the least. i would love a dual carb setup on a b18a.. i just don't think i'd have the patients to get a b16a with carbs running right.
FYI, Hasport now has changed the mount kit for these cars so you can use either a Cable or Hydro trans. They will be updating their site shortly with the details and pricing.

A couple of people reported your comments as disingenuous and divisive.
