Axles from HAsport, 86-89 Integra hub assemblies to work with the Axles, transmission, intermediate shaft, wiring conversion from dual point to multipoint, and I highly recommend upgrading to OBD1.

HASport has the conversion harness.. mounts.. axles. and shift linkage.

obd0 to 1 jumper harness will work for.. Plug in play.

Simple... Yes you can do it..

Add a fuel pump to your build.

You can do it in a few weekends in your garage, however since your car requires a lot of wiring changes, I would suggest contacting Hasport about having them modify your harness for the swap.

Never take any Tech advice from Honda-Tech. No one in this thread has any idea what they are talking about.

Why are you here then?

Sounds like a fun build. Sleepers are my favorite.

A couple of people reported your comments as disingenuous and divisive.

If you know something about the subject, you should contribute the information.

If you know where at Honda-Tech the original poster can go for the information, then you should link in the thread.

Well if I remember right that car is carbureted , so you would need to swap out the fuel system... and fuel injection wiring as well to make it a FI car. And again... the mounts... the axles and modded shift rods

...it sounds like he is in way over his head. As bodboyr66 pointed out the original posters car is carbed; there is no wiring harness to convert and no fuel system to support a FI engine. This is definitely not plug and play nor will it be easy.

Well he is right though. It is not an easy swap.... it is not even that easy of a swap on and SI... and that is fuel injected already. We are not saying it is not doable....but it would be best to find a wrecked SI car and swap everything over. That would at least cover a major aspect of the swap... the wiring. Everything else can be sourced.... but it gonna cost some serious time.... and some money. But again doable

honestly save your money and get an EG. i hate to say this but you'll only get more frustrated when you find out you can't really buy any suspension pieces, and they don't make stuff for your car. 1gencrx is completely correct about what he said, although i guess it could have been taken harshly. if you don't know about these cars you should probably keep your mouth shut instead of leading someone on.

i've never seen this "honda swap" book, but in all honesty, i don't think anyone would really cover this specific of a swap.. i've seen more than one person pick up a pre 88 civic only to get discouraged and not want to deal with anything about them. happened just 2 weeks ago.

go to redpepperracing.com and do a lot of research and then make a decision, but i can almost gaurantee that you'll want to just drive it for now and save the B series for an EF or EG..

just my advice. if you do decide to do the swap, we are here for help.

I have to say that I would probably personally try a different car and a different swap.

I guess there's nothing wrong with carburettors, though, even in 2009, assuming you don't have to worry about any state inspections testing that would make it difficult to pass inspection with carburettors.

I hope they correct it soon

oh, not in the least. i would love a dual carb setup on a b18a.. i just don't think i'd have the patients to get a b16a with carbs running right.

FYI, Hasport now has changed the mount kit for these cars so you can use either a Cable or Hydro trans. They will be updating their site shortly with the details and pricing.
