cleaning vtec

can i use throttle body cleaner? also do I pour oil on the vtec and just wipe it down to clean it? or do i spray the cleaner in the holes or flush in any way?

Do you have the head off the engine and want to clean the VTEC oil routing?

um nope but i just took the solenoid off and cleaned the screen thats all i could do lol not much but i did. i just wanted to know the process of cleaning the solenoid all i read was that they use oil and a rag.
