im new to this forum...but i seriously need help with this

okay so i have a long story and i have seen a lot of people on forums saying that limp mode is so rare and people get it mixed up and stuff...

about 5 days ago me and some of my buddies went cruisin about an hour from where i live...on the way on the interstate..out of nowhere...the car stops letting me accelerate...it doesnt shut off...it just wont let me give it gas..

i pull over turn off the car and proceed to driving..about 2 miles later this happens again..worried i pull over and investigate...no over heating..no nothing..so i meet with my friends at an exit and have them take a look..no problems they can find...another 10 miles or so up the road to where we were goin...my car was running like absolute ****..terrible throttle response..goin slow..all that..

i let the car sit for an hour or so...then on my way back home..the car starts bogging down and making funny noises..

welll now for the past few days we've been trying to fix the problem..
replaced fuel filter..checked tps, map sensor, injectors, all kinds of ****..

i looked on the internet and limp mode is a perfect description of what i have going on...

as of right now...my car will run decent for 5 minutes or so..then outta nowhere i cant rev past 3500 rpms...it starts soundin like launch control..lol

and it takes like forever to get to even 30 mph...rpms go up but the speed is shitty...vtec is hard the first 5 minutes that it does run..and the car sounds funny in general..i'd really love some help here

and also it idles very low and tries to stall like crazy...very annoying as well as alarming

It isnt limp mode. You'd have a check engine light if it was (which you should have even now). Sounds more like bad wiring or a bad sensor. Could be a number of things, you should look for that CEL first and let us know what you find out on that.

no CEL

some genius took the bulb out..and even so i have a japanese ECU and motor...wouldn't show up anyway

have you checked the timing? plugs? wires? dizzy? grounds? it can be tough to figure out without a cel.

just b/c you have a jap ecu doesn't mean you can't still get codes...check the codes and put a new damn bulb in that cluster

#1 on my list is gonna be o2 sensor...

do you have a conversion harness?
trade ECU's with someone to eliminate your ecu as being a problem

then come back to this forum and let us know whats up

your one of the rare few that puts B16's into integras lol

well ive done evrything today..all of that and more..

im pretty much positive its the dizzy...

what do you guys think?

would a distributer make it run like this?

tell me what the codes are

get the bulb for that cluster and read the codes man
