the bottom piece that goes under the bumper to cover the engine bay underneath? pretty vague, looks like a stock civic with PS and no AC to me

What's missing from your 1996 EX?

The EX engine.

Along with the air conditioning system and front belly splash shield.

That looks like a D16Y7, 1.6L SOHC non-VTEC. Exhaust manifold, cat way up front, secondary O2 sensor up front, intake, etc.

So this could be a Canadian model EX (which is a EJ6 with the D16Y7 IIRC) or it could be a USDM EX (which is an EJ8 that should have a D16Y8 - 1.6L SOHC VTEC).

An EJ6 can have optional P/S and A/C, but the EJ8 should come with the P/S and A/C standard.

From Honda for about $60 or so. It's not necessary though. It can help keep your engine bay cleaner and looks better in my opinion.

What are the first six digits of your VIN?

Looks like someone edited the thread title with a trim level correction . . .

What are you going to do with an auxiliary fan when there is no A/C condenser or radiator for it to cool?

Judging by the rusty fasteners and hardware in the photos, this car sees hard winters. A belly pan splash shield prevents salt spray from corroding all of the fasteners and hardware in the engine bay.

Splash shields serve an important purpose in the rust belt, at least if you ever intend to repair your car . . .

You're going to need the entire air conditioning system. It's going to cost you well over a thousand with installation, if A/C accessory kits are even still available.

Splash shields can be purchased at any Honda dealership.

update : the engine mount is also broken and a piece of it went where the timing belt is and messed it up. How much should the mount + labor cost?

But it's still not necessary. I meant performance and comfort won't be affected by not having it.

There is a thread I created on this site that lists linked for Honda dealerships online.

It's also listed in the FAQ. PLEASE read the FAQ! It will keep you from having to ask a lot of questions.

Labor is going to be different for different parts of the country and different businesses. Call around locally.

Perhaps you should read the thread. The title change was gone over already.

The original title of this thread was "Am i missing something? (1996 EX)". Look at most of the reply titles even.

hmmm..... sure is missing a/c. Well you should be careless about the a/c from now on. it's was told that no a/c help the car run stronger. And it's shouldn't be a problem to the car. unless you dnt want a bad summer time. that's all
