MINT 01 PY Type R For sale on Ebay.
The starting price for this Type R seems really cheap for how mint this car is with these low miles. I already have a Type R but like to look at others for sale just to look and this seems odd and could be a scam at this low price.

That is a really nice R and I did see it on eBay few days ago.
By the way, low starting pirce means nothing because it is a reserve auction and it is 100% legit
<<-- have been on eBay since 2000 and knows how to tell a real deal from a scam.

<-- now I'm jaleous haha. 53k seems a lot compared to 11k
LOL, jus tbe happy you have a low mileage MINT R they are getting harder and harder to find. It took me several months to find my current R as well and I had to have it shipped from Chicago to Washington.
Be patient. It took me a year to find a clean, unmolested and a low mileageR.

Hi -- thanks for asking. I don't mind the questions. I'm the 3rd owner. The first two pretty much just parked the car in their garages. I do drive it fairly routinely. it's fun and attracts a lot of looks and nods. No body work since i've had it 3 yrs ago, 25K miles ago. It has been in the rain...not really in the snow -- we don't get much, and I have a 4x4 for that. I use mobil 1...typically change around 3k miles. Manual trans -- no trans fluid...gearbox fluid is still the original Honda fluid. Tires are Kuhmo's...all-season, but also high-performance. Seats are clean - no spills, stains, discolorations, etc. Paint is very clean, only 2 very minor nicks (1 small rock chip on the front, and 1 faint scratch on the wing). It's a very nice car --
Low mileage R's are priced accordingly... you got to pay up for the good stuff. Really not THAT tough to look... just may take a few months, lots of them out there.
Can anyone confirm this claim made there!?:
"Acura made this limited edition Type R version in '97, '98. '00, and '01 producing only 3,845 in total."

Yeah that sounds right. There was a post awhile back where someone ran all the itr vins and it was around that number.
yeah they are out there, but eaiter its not the original motor which thats not what i want or the car is abut to cry.
