Default Rear seat ?

1994 Integra, does anyone know if another backseat will fit that doesn't have the plastic tray in the middle? Got a baby on the way and need to stuff it in the back somewhere...LOL

Seat attaches to the frame not the seat right? Does anyone know if rear seats from a 92-95 Civic will fit?

not likely i know that certain civics that can use the integra back seats but have the seat in the middle do not have the seat belt odds are if you want that to work you are going to have to drop the gas tank and drill two wholes in the car then weld two nuts on the outside of the car and then you could get a lap belt out of another car honda acura what ever it will work i recomend that you get the belt first that way you can get the the largest diameter bolt that it will acccept and get a matching nut for the bold i have done this and it passed inspection in pa but for real safety i would recomend takeing a sign post one that is c channel with wings and shape it to fit the car and tie into the frame welding it on i know is alot of work but would be one of a kind

Hmm, wish I could find pics without taking my seat apart just to look..lol Perhaps I'll take apart my friends 93 Civic sedan to look. Although it sounds like I'll be taking my back seat out this weekend for curiosity kicks.

It's only one screw you have to take off anyway. Haha.

Can we get some punctuation please?

OP: ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY DO NOT do anything like this. If you care about the life and safety of your child, DO NOT EVER try to rig something like this. Seat belts in a car are designed to anchor at certain points, and if you try to rig up belts that anchor at different points where they weren't designed for it, they could very likely fail during a collision.

Integra coupe rear seats were designed with the plastic tray so that they would NOT have to put a center seat belt in the rear folding sections. That helped keep the folding sections much thinner and lighter. Try looking at the folding seat sections of an EP3 Civic Si hatchback. They are HUGE due to having a center seat belt with the proper system to make them lock up during sudden stops.

Just use the normal rear seat belts for the baby seat. If they're not long enough, then try to use a different baby seat, or get a different car. Seriously, what's going to be more important to you, the car or your child?

They don't, it's just to be different from US release.

Thanks again Patrick. I believe there might be a way to make it work with the two seatbelts. If not, I'll be looking at buying a 4 door Accord, 2005-2009, just not sure yet.
