I Need help guys!!! Ls-vtec or GSR?!?!
I currently have an automatic 95 Acura Integra and Im thinking of selling it. The question Im asking is if I should buy a 3rd gen ls and make it ls-vtec or just go straight for a 3rd gen gsr? Which one is better in the long run? which one will i be spending more? What do u guys think?
If i get the Gsr i have to worry if they beat it up or if its still good and on the lsv should it matter how many miles it has?? Anything?

I have a gsr. I racked up 25,000 miles in 4 months about 6 months ago. It's my DD and only running car.
still running strong! Currently on 118,xxx
If your budget allows for the build of lsv then go for it, all depends what you want to do.
PS goin turbo soon on stock motor

depends on price. go for the gsr stock. easier to build it up. you're going to pull your hair with set ups. ie: si head ,gsr head, or type r head. then your tranny set up. then your whp ratings. if you want low end or high end throttle response. it's going to drive you mad. go for a gsr and start there. if you really balling get a type - r swap and focus on genuine type r rebuild. in the end whichever route you choose will be rewarded with a true jdm experience and fun car.

well Ive had a ton of b16's gsr' and lsv and i love my lsv. i have a db1 lsv and it walks on type-r's n gsr's. if you build it right it will be just as reliable as any honda motor and the power and torque just isn't the same in the gsr. my buddy has a 92 gsr with a 95 gsr motor in it and when we race i pull pretty hard on him. really its up to you but if i was you id buy the ls and with the extra cash from not buying the gsr u could build a quick lsv and do other stuff to it too. but like i said its up to you this is just my opinion. i know some people wont agree with me but they don't have to

go whatever thats in your budget. if you dont know squat diddly bout ls/v then forget it, unless you have the funds to pay someone to do it right for you. gsr is the best bet. good power, very reliable(because didnt have to break open the motor), ez to make it go fast. now a days you can find a decent gsr for 5-6k. gl.
