I don't like my 88 front end... screws in the corner lights, silly bumper...
do the 90-91 fenders just bolt up? i know i have to change the corner lights, and the headlights so the corner lights mount properly... but is that it? is it necessary for the 90-91 bumper?

 

Swap fenders and headlights and corner lights....everythin is same....

 

he is correct...you don't have to swap fenders just buy two little guides that snap in the place of where the screws use to go for the older style corner light

turn signals are different
so is the front lip but they both mount the same way

 

Fenders are the same, just swap the headlights and corner lights with the ones from a 90-91. Bumper is your choice, I generally prefer the 90-91 style but in order for the moldings to match you would need the thinner side moldings from the 90-91 as well as the rear bumper.

 

honda parts unlimited has the part number for the 88-89 and 90-91 headlights as the same part number so i dont think u have to change the headlights

 

its the brackets that hold the headlights that are different and the brackets that clip into the fenders, you can grab a set of old lights from the junkyard even rusted internal ones for cheap if you just use the headlight brackets and swap them over, then swap the clips on the fender. as posted above the bumper bolts on but the side moldings are thinner.

 

so my parts list is...
-corner light guide thingers
-side molding + rear bumper
-front bumper
-headlight brackets
and, corner lights...

nice! this is cheaper than I thought! I was almost gonna buy a new set of fenders... lol.
